depicting an Alpine village with soldiers departing for war.
Condition
Overall in good original condition. With natural age cracks filled with dirt. Some minor yellow-toned staining, consistent with environmental effects. The depth of the relief is unusual as some of the figures approach being carved in the full round. Strong three dimensional visual effect. There are fillers throughout the lower portion of the relief.
