Pile generally low to knotheads with areas, particularly in border, near original 1/6 inch; old repiled and rewoven areas scattered about, now faded and quite visible; scattered spot foundation showing in areas of wear and foldwear. Spot stains and embedded dirt. Will enhance with thorough cleaning. Overcast sides. Ends with small losses to outer guard stripes, now secured with binding stitch. Very flexible handle, lustrous wool, soft subtle coloring; sound fabric and condition.
