Condition

Pile generally very good near original 1/5th of an inch with golden yellow ground cartouches and pink cartouches clipped lower. Lower areas trimmed to about 1/10th of an inch, giving design and calligraphy a relief effect. Very minor foldwear and warp ties visible in golden yellow ground, not serious. Original selvages, original 1/4" inch flatwoven end finishes and knotted warp fringes intact. Flexible handle, dense weave, very good near original condition.
