Condition
The painting is in good and condition. There are some areas of cosmetic retouching in the sky, particularly in the blue pigments. There is a faint diagonal 6cm scratch through the tree trunk on the far right (just visible in the catalogue illustration), a fine, barely visible, 9cm scratch in the foliage in the upper left, and some yellowing of the surface. Held in a decorative gold painted frame.
