Condition
Overall in very good condition and excellent presentation. No breaks or repairs, but has minor pitting to surface, consistent with natural grain of stone. The skin is smooth and realy well rendered.

Gamba studied at the Accademia di Brera in Milan under Vincenzo. He is recorded as having exhibited in Naples in 1877, Milan in 1881, and Turin in 1884.
