- 88 cm
in the renaissance vein, cast with foliate and fruits, issuing dolphin head branches and fruiting and a ram's head nozzle.
Condition
Overall in good original condition, very finely cast and chased. The gilt bronze is dirty and can easily be cleaned. The five pinecone finials to the stem issuing the three branch candle arms are later replacements. One branch has been restored, and now shows soldering points. Pierced for electricity.
