surmounted by a veined white marble top, the frieze decorated with scalopped foliage, on monopodiae lion-mask supports with flower garlands, joined by an interlocked looped-stretcher, stencil mark to the underside of the top reading: Meubles et Sieges/ROBERT DENNERY/SOUSMAN & ROBINO/PARIS.
Condition
Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. The marble with the usual minor chips to edges, scratches to surface consistent with age and use. Some flaking and losses to the gilding in few places. visible separation to join of construction mostly to the angles of the frieze.
