each modelled reclining before a flower-filled urn with a boy or a girl seated on its back holding a garland of flowers, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue. one incised 18 and impressed 111, the other impressed 17. and 68.
Condition
Right facing sphinx: the top portion of the flowers in the vase has been broken off and glued back; one leaf is chipped; minor restored chips to the flowers and leaves of the flowers in the vase; minor restored chips to the flowers and leaves of the flowers in the vase.
Left facing sphinx: minor restored chips to the flowers and leaves of the flowers in the vase.
Both hve some occasional very minor chips to the flower garlands.
