of breakfront outline and surmounted by a black marble top, the doors centered by figures of Aspasia and the Philosopher, the cabinet opening to one shelf fronted by brass bandings.

Condition

Overall in fair condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Some tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places but recently cleaned. The marble with the usual minor chips to edges, scratches to surface consistent with age and use. The marble as been varnished. Elements of the carcass have shrinked and moved and such consistent with age.
