Description

  • each 216cm. high, 121cm. wide; 7ft.1in., 3ft.11in.
each with an arched divided plate with a pierced cresting, sides and apron, the whole carved with rocaille, acanthus, flowers, leaves and scrolls; partly regilded

Condition

There are some very minor sections of the carving chipped off, e.g. the top of an acanthus leaf on the top left side of one which is hardly noticeable. The carving has been strengthened at the back but does not detract from the piece. There are a few hairline construction cracks at joints. In overall good condition.
