Description

  • poplar/pine
  • each 90cm. high, 54cm. wide; 2ft.11in., 1ft.9in.
each with a cartouche-shaped plate within a stylised rope-twist border, the pierced rocaille and foliate carved cresting with a basket of flowers, the sides with trails of flowers and leaves, the apron issuing two gilded tôle leaf cast candlearms; formerly fitted for electricity; rebacked

Condition

Some very minor surface dirt and wear to gilding as visible from photograph. The carved sections have been strengthened at the back. Attractively carved. In overall good original condition.
