- each 65cm. high, 52cm. wide, 33cm. deep; 2ft.1in., 1ft.8in., 1ft. 1in.
each with a shaped painted faux green marble top above a putto, the whole carved with scrolls, flowers, foliage and rocaille; the gilding refreshed and restored
Condition
Old minor marks chips and scratches as visible from photograph. There are some hairline cracks below the frieze of one which can easily be restored or left. The gilding slightly varies in colour with more pinkish tones in places. The back of both have been reblocked and there is a later support beneath the top of one but this is only visible from the reverse. In otherwise good restored condition.
