Description

- 220cm high, 170cm. wide, 30cm. deep; 7ft.2in., 5ft.6½in., 11¾in.
the rectangular plate within a moulded frame with a scrolled acanthus leaf carved cresting flanked by eagles surmounted by a standing blackamoor, with pierced sides, the frame carved with scallopshells, gadroons, scrolls, flowers and leaves on a stippled ground

Condition
Old minor marks and chips. Superb quality carving. Some hairline construction cracks together with some other minor cracks commensurate with age which can either be filled or left. The carving has been strengthened at the back. A most attractive and unusual mirror in overall very good condition.
