Condition
The canvas has been laid down and the board is sound.
There is a small surface abrasion to the canvas off the border, upper centre and to the hills, upper left. There are also frame abrasions to the right and left edge. There are three small flecks of paint loss to the foreground, lower left and right. Otherwise in good overall and condition.
Ultraviolet reveals a few pigments which flouresce but these are the hand of the artist.
Held in a painted plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
