The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is darker in the original work.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. Two spots of paint loss, located 34cm from the left edge and 43cm from the lower edge. Some buckling to the canvas to all four corners. Overall some faint hairline cracks mainly notable in the middle section of the work. Two spots of minor retouches, both 22cm from the left edge, and 75cm and 130cm from the lower edge, only visible under ultraviolet light.
