Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is richer in the original with the background tending more towards a deep grey. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are some small handling marks in places along the light boarder and one minute chip above the centre of the left edge. There is superficial dust adhering to the steel surface. All surface irregularities on the backing board are inherent to the artist's choice of medium. When examined under ultraviolet light, some retouches at the ridges of all four extreme edges are visible.
