Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is softer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The canvas is slightly slack. There is superficial dust adhering to the surface. There is wear in places along the right and left edges of the composition. There are some media splashes with drip marks in places, most notably to the unprimed section of the canvas, with some vertical dripping marks 1m in from the lower right corner. There are some stable hairline cracks to some of the white pigment. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
