Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter in the original with the black tending more to a vibrant navy blue.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are two parallel 4cm rub marks above the centre of the left edge only visible upon close inspection and a light stretcher mark running parallel to the left section of the bottom edge. There is a layer of superficial dust adhering to the surface. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
