Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is lighter and softer in the original with the red tending more to orange. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is a layer of dust adhering to the surface throughout, which in places has given the surface a lighter appearance, notably in the upper left corner; beneath the centre of the top edge; in the lower left corner; and above the right section of the bottom edge. There is a faint horizontal rub mark towards the lower left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
