Of octagonal form, the Kazan Mother of God painted in enamel on copper on the central panel, surrounded by four rows of colored "jewels" with eight larger circular settings, hanging from a jeweled crown, the back with hinged door opening to a small space meant to hold a reliquary, with a suspension hook at upper rear
