Condition
This painting is in good condition. The canvas has been lined. The surface is stable and the canvas is wellstretched. The painting is slightly dirty and dull. Under ultraviolet light we can see that the pale blue shapes at upper right and upper left have received retouches and the building as it extends towards the extreme left edge in the center has also received some retouches. Elsewhere, there are hardly any retouches to speak of. We assume that the slight thinness in these pale blue shapes in the upper right and upper left is intentional and that the retouches defy the artist's wishes. This can be ascertained when the picture is cleaned. Overall, the picture is in very good state.
