Condition

Waiter Carrying Carpano (Harper's Bazaar, Spring) - This print is in generally excellent condition. 'Monaco' - Visible in raking light are the following: a 4-in. soft crease above the sitter's hat; and 2 one-inch soft creases in the lower left quadrant of the image near the margin. The title and date are in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. In raking light, some small deposits of retouching are visible in the lower portion of the image. These photographs were acquired from Staley-Wise Gallery, New York, in 1999.
