Condition

These prints are in generally excellent condition, except where noted. The corners of the prints are lightly bumped. Un Regard Oblique, 1948 - In high raking light, a faint, soft crease is visible in the lower central portion of the image. Les Animaux Supérieurs, 1954 Les Enfants de la Place Hebert, 1957 Picasso et Francoise Gilot, 1952 - In high raking light, 2 crescent-shaped handling creases are visible in the upper central and lower right portions of the image. Le Fox-Terrier des Ponts de Arts, 1953 - In high raking light, a 2-inch soft linear crease is visible in the upper left quadrant. Midi a la Fonderie Rudier, 1949 - There is a small, transparent, matte deposit of indeterminate nature in the lower print margin. L'Enfer, 1952 Le Petit Balcon, 1953: In high raking light, a soft handling crease is visible near the lower left edge of the image. La Concierge aux Lunettes, 1945 - Upon close examination, tiny deposits of original retouching are visible throughout the image. On the reverse of the print, Doisneau has written in ink 'tirage en Decembre 1983.' Les Glaneurs de Charbon, 1945: There is a small soft handling crease along the lower edge of the image. These images are reproduced in 'Three Seconds from Eternity,' pp. 46, 66, 69, 81, and 143; 'Doisneau Paris,' p. 189; and 'Retrospective,' pls. 6, 7, and 67.
