Portfolio of forty-five silver prints. Each print with the Weegee collection blindstamp in the lower right margin, and 'Credit Photo by Weegee the Famous' and 'Print: Kaplan' stamps on the reverse and numbered in pencil conforming to the list of contents. With a printed title page, contents page and foreword. Cased in a grey cloth portfolio bearing a version of the 'Weegee the Famous' stamp on the cover. Ed. 2/22 + 6 Hors Serie, ed. by Louis Stettner and Wilma Wilcox.

Condition

The prints in very good condition over all. With undulation to the edges of the sheets in the margins away from the image and some corners and edges slightly bumped. Occasional slight surface scratches only visible in raking light. A few light handling creases to some of the prints mainly in the margins. Three prints with small losses of emulsion along the left edges of the sheets, these are in the margins away from the image. Title page, list of photographs and foreword clean and crisp. One print with a small discoloured half circle at the centre of the upper edge in the margin away from the image. The portfolio slightly soiled and the corners slightly bumped.
