This striking early print is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination in raking light, a one-inch horizontal surface scuff is visible in the lower left quadrant of the image. The upper left and right corners exhibit minor chipping. The mount, which is ever so lightly age-darkened at the edges, is affixed to a mat with four 1½- to 2-inch strips of paper tape on its reverse. 'Top' is annotated in pencil along the upper edge on the reverse of the mount. There are also light graphite-colored fingerprints on the reverse.
