Condition
This print is in fair condition. There are transparent droplet deposits of indeterminate nature overall. Along the upper edge of the print, there are thin deposits of white paint and tiny pin-prick-sized losses to the emulsion. In the lower left quadrant of the image, there is a ½-inch gouge resulting in an emulsion loss, as well as tiny pin-prick-sized losses. In the lower right quadrant of the image, there is a gouge that breaks the emulsion and tiny pin-prick-sized losses.
The reverse of the frame is annotated '2' (circled) in an unidentified hand in ink.
This photograph is in its original white frame, and is not glazed.
This image is reproduced in Ansel Adams's 'Polaroid Land Photography,' which was first published in 1963. Thus the date of the negative can be no later than that year.
