- Corpus
- gilt and enamelled copper, with a later wood frame
inscribed: 560. in red ink and with a label inscribed 937 in black ink on the reverse
Condition
Overall the condition of the corpus is good. There is wear and some minor dirt to the surface consistent with age and handling with particular losses to the gilding at the high point and to the enamel at the feet. The proper left arm is slightly bent and has minor stable hairline fissures due to this bending at the elbow. There is some damage to the cabochons in the eyes, particularly to the left eye.
