Condition

Overall the condition of the ivory is good. There is some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age with some remnants of an adhesive to the back. There are a few minor, naturally occurring, stable fissures visible on the surface. The index finger of the proper left hand is lost and there is a restoration to the right cord coming down from the perezonium. The cloth protruding from his proper right side and both arms were carved separately and joined.
