  • St Joseph and the Christ Child
  • gilt and polychromed terracotta

Condition

There is dirt to the surface, particularly in the crevices. There are some drips of wax to the surface. There are some minor losses to the polychromy, including a worn area on St Joseph's neck. There are also a few areas of loss to the polychromy on St Joseph's face, including an area to his left cheek and a small chip to the right of his nose. There are a few chips to the edges of the drapery. The Christ Child the big toe of his right foot. Otherwise the condition is very good.
