Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has a firm lining. PAINT SURFACE The painting appears to be in very good condition. There does not appear to be any paint loss of excessive craquelure and the picture is ready to hang. ULTRAVIOLET Examination under ultraviolet light reveals scattered minor retouching and strengthening, predominantly in the sky, as well as some infilling to craquelure. FRAME Held in a gilded wooden frame, in good condition.
