Condition
The painting is less red than the catalogue illustration suggests. Overall the painting appears to the naked eye to be in good condition. The paint is tenting slightly in the craquelure of the darker tones lower left. Inspection under UV light reveals minor retouchings, mostly limited to the aforementioned darker tones.
Offered glazed and in a wooden frame with minor losses.
