Condition
The actual painting is deeper in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
The canvas has an old stable relining. The paint layer is generally sound and under a dirty varnish layer. There's a retouched surface scratch in the lower right corner and some minor scattered retouchings can be made out in the sky and in the lower foreground. Further inspection under UV light remains inconclusive due to the dirty varnish.
Offered in a plain wood frame with a gilt filler in good condition.
