Description

Condition
The catalogue illustrations are representative for the actual paintings.
Both single panels are in good condition. In the left painting a very thin vertical split is visible to the lower left. Otherwise, no damages are apparent and both paint layers are secure and under a fairly clear layer of varnish. In both paintings, inspection under UV light reveals tiny retouchings throughout and minor strengthening of the some of the figures. Also, in both paintings the initials P.B. fluoresce under UV light.
Offered in later plain gold painted wood frames in fair condition.
