Condition
The canvas has a somewhat tight relining. The paint surface is generally sound, with no damages apparent. The paint layer is a little thin in the brown tones in the houses, but the figures appear nicely preserved. Minor retouchings can be made out with the naked eye in the sky. The paint surface is under a slightly dirty and glossy varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals some tiny scattered retouchings and minor strengthening of the outlines in some of the figures. Offered in a decorative gilt wood frame in good condition.
