Condition

The support consists of 3 horizontal panels joined to the reverse with a series of horizontal batons. The paint surface is secure and in good condition with thick chunks of impasto remaining under a glossy varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor scattered retouchings most notably along the panel joins and lower right in the darker brown area which has slightly abraded. There are a few old unobtrusive surface varnish scratches centre right. Offered in a stained wood frame in good condition
