Catalogue Note

Eugenios Bulgaris (1716-1806), a scholar and theologian from Corfu, studied at the University of Padua and became the bishop of Kherson (Ukraine). He also wrote a Treatise on Euthanasia (1804) and was the first to translate Voltaire into Greek.
