Anto Sucre al empleo de G[ene]ral de Brigada de los Ejtos de la Repca con la antiguedad del 2 de Agto de 1819"), 1 page, folio (c.32.5 x 20cms), 16 January 1820, laid down on card, splitting at folds

Catalogue Note

apparently unpublished: not traced in the published letters and documents of the Liberator. Antonio Sucre (1795-1830) became one of the youngest generals in Bolívar's army. This is a remarkable document linking two of the liberators of South America.
