Catalogue Note
A beautiful set of views of Rome by Piranesi's teacher, the Sicilian artist and printmaker Giuseppe Vasi. This set contains extra plates not recorded in the BAL RIBA copies, perhaps indicating that although the title-pages are those of the first editions, this set was compiled slightly later including some additional plates.
