The painting is in good condition, as is the canvas, which is clear and taut. The paint layers are intact. The colour of the skin is too dark and the overall tone of the paintings are too yellow in the catalogue illustrations. The actual paintings are brighter in reality.

We see ourselves in a different light than others - a picture perfect version that we find ourselves chasing after.
