Condition
The painting is in good condition, as is the canvas, which is clear and taut. There is a very minor spot of media accretion on the upper register (on the lighter portion of the hat). The paint layers are intact.
The red in the painting is overall brighter, with a less prominent blue undertone in the skin tone in reality.
