The complete set in two volumes, 1948, comprising 96 etchings and 11 etchings for the vignettes, signed in black ink on the justification,  inscribed and numbered H.C. VIII/ XXXIII (an hors commerce set aside from the edition of 335), with the title-page and text, on wove paper, some sheets watermarked BMB J. Perrigot and Arches

Condition

The full sheets, in generally good condition, apart from occasional foxing, uneven paper discoloration and offsetting from text, occasional cockling along the edges, occasional handling creases along edges and a few short tears, loose in original paper covers, in boards and slipcase (slight overall soiling and occasional paper loss along edges).
