The necklace composed of seed pearls and collet-set with old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.00 carats, the tassel composed of seed pearls, capped by old mine and rose-cut diamonds, accented by calibré-cut sapphires, length 66 inches, numbered 862, French assay mark.

Condition

Good overall condition. The round to off-round pearls on the necklace are a silver hue, with varying degrees of mocha, pink, green and blue overtones. Minor to moderate blemishing with generally good luster. The pearls on the tassel are creamy white color and have good luster and overtones of pink and peach. One strand appears to be missing but this is only apparent if one carefully examines the underside of the cap. Diamonds are approximately H-K color and VS-I clarity. The sapphires are dark blue; one missing, but not readily apparent. Numbered 862 on "O" ring attached to the pendant bail. The tassel pendant is detachable. The French assay mark may be found on a link attached to the large spring clasp.
