Description

  • Tourmaline and bead approximately 50.5 x 52.30 x 12.57mm and 12.86 x 12.65 x 10.05mm respectively.
The translucent tourmaline of translucent rich pink colour, carved with lotus roots and pods on one side and lotus flowers and leaves on the reverse, suspended from a silk cord with seed pearls and a round green jadeite bead.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the pink tourmaline is bright, intense purple pink colour, slightly included to naked eyes. The jadeite bead is semi-translucent, of medium soft apple green colour. Reference to previous HK sale dated 3 May 2000, lot 518. Condition: Old and fine craftsmanship of late Qing period, in good condition.
