Description
The octagonal step-cut emerald embellished with marquise- and pear-shaped, brilliant- and circular-cut diamond surrounds, mounted in platinum, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered.
Condition
Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels N.Y., numbered 41060., stamped 19.18, indicating the weight of the emerald. For further information on the emerald, please refer to the Gübelin report. Some typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, few minor nicks and abrasion to facet junctions. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of approximately 23.04 carats, generally G-H colour, VS clarity. Normal signs of wear to the metal. In good condition.
