The oval sapphire weighing 28.63 carats, to a frame of similarly cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 53, signed A. Reza, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped Pt 950 for platinum, signed A. Reza, French assay and maker's marks. For further information on the sapphire, please refer to Gübelin report no. 1009259 stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Lively stone with good colour saturation, some very typical crystal inclusions, a few minor nicks and abrasion mainly around girdle. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 9.00carats in total, generally G-H colour, VS clarity. Minor scratches to the mount consistent with normal wear. In good condition.
