Description

Composed of three rows of ruby beads highlighted with brilliant-cut diamond set spacers, suspending a tassel of similar stones, mounted in yellow gold, length approximately 400mm, signed VCA and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped with French assay marks and 750 for gold. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered 31972. Rubies overall well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, some minor scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 10.50 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity. Normal signs of wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age. Clasp secure, with safety catch. In good condition.
