The necklace designed as a series of scalloped clusters set with cabochon rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, the spacers set with similar stones, length approximately 410mm, signed VCA and numbered, French assay and maker's marks, detaches to form one bracelet measuring approximately 170mm, together with a pair of pendant ear clips, set with similar stones and brilliant-cut diamonds of yellow tint, all mounted in yellow gold.
Condition
Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Each piece stamped with French assay marks and 750 for gold. The necklace: Signed VCA and numbered 23222 and 23223.
Rubies well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, few scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 44.00 carats, G-H colour and yellowish tint on the ear clips, VS-SI clarity. Please note that the yellow diamonds have not been tested for natural colour. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age. Clasps secure. In good condition.
