Centring on a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 5.22 carats, between shoulders set with lines of brilliant-cut diamonds, size L¼, Swedish hallmarks for 1952.

Condition

Stamped with makers' marks, Swedish hallmarks for platinum, 1952. Engraved to underside of band D 0.64 and S 7.14. Upon unmounting the sapphire weighs 5.22 carats; dark blue colour, strong saturation, very small nicks, crystal inclusions visible with magnification. Diamonds stated to weigh 0 .64 carat; estimated colour H/I, estimated clarity VS ; band split could benefit from attention from a professional jeweller. In good condition.
