Description

  • RUBY, ENAMEL, CERAMIC
Designed as a series of Egyptian motifs including the profile of an Egyptian Pharaoh, sphinx, lotus flower and serpents, and two scarabs, decorated with polychrome enamel and circular-cut rubies, chased to reverse, length approximately 125mm, later bolt fitting.

Condition

Stamped 12 to later bolt fitting, probably indicating 12 carat gold. Rubies dark-medium puplish red, well matched in size. Discolouration to one scarab visible to the naked eye. Slight scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. Well articulated. In very good condition.
