Condition
Work is in very good condition. String is taut and stable. A few scratches to the base where the work meets it that appear inherent to the artist's process. Surface is slightly dirty. A few minor nicks to the back near the left opening. Otherwise fine.

Catalogue Note
This work is study after the larger Winged Figure commissioned for the John Lewis Store on Oxford Street, London. Measuring over 19 feet high, the work was cast in aluminum for its comparable lightness and placed on the flat side wall of the building.
